In August of 2012, I set out to try and break the unsupported speed record for the Colorado Trail. Originally set in 2006 by Paul Pomeroy, the time I would be attempting to better would be 14d 9h 30m. By the nature of going unsupported, I would be carrying all of my food and fuel supplies from the beginning and not relying on any outside help or support.
